Build a diverse and effective teamThe first step in creating a powerful team is knowing as much as you can about your upcoming battle:Can I bring in six or only three?What is the notable about the types of Pokemon I will be facing ?What level are the Pokemon I'll be fighting against?Once you answered this questions as best as you can, you're ready to construct a team!Protection against Status Conditions and Stat-AlteringWhite HerbsThe white herb is an all-in-one held item to eliminate stat reduction-it will restore any lowered base stats(Attack,Defence,Special Attack,Special Defence,and Speed)to its original value.Any Pokemon on your team can reap the benefits of its effect, but the White Herb is best suited to Pokemon that rely on high stats to supplement a collection of weaker attacks.Stat-Altering Held ItemsChoice Band/Choice Specs/Choice Scarf
The choice items each increase one base stat:The choice Band increases Attack,the Choice Spec increases Special Attack and the Choice Scarf increases Speed. The downside of to the Choice items is that for the duration of the battle your Pokemon will be limited to using the first move it performs,similar to the effects of the Move Encore.Use Choice items only if you have one great attack that you want to use it over and over again!This is the last of Issue 2 , hope to see you again in Issue 3!
